It is John’s endeavor to assist his clients as they work toward achieving their financial dreams, guiding them to make positive financial decisions and helping them in any way he can throughout their lives. He builds lasting relationships with those he serves and truly thinks of his clients as family. John likes to remove the stress from money management and always ensures that the tailored financial plans he creates fit his clients’ needs while taking into account their long-term goals.

John is honored to work alongside his wife, Julia, who has been an integral part of his team since 1992. The pair are united in their goal of providing the highest standard of client service each day.

Prior to joining Cornerstone Wealth Advisors in May 2018, John served for 28 years as a first vice president and investment officer with Wells Fargo Advisors and its predecessors. He earned his bachelor’s degree in economics and management science from SUNY Cortland and holds the Accredited Asset Management Specialist® designation.

Active in his community, John is the head men’s lacrosse coach at Pinecrest High School, a U.S. Merchant Marine Officer with OUPV and serves on the finance council of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. John has earned his fourth degree with St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church’s Knights of Columbus and had a key role in planning and developing St. John Paul II Catholic School.

Originally from Oakdale, New York, John has made his home in Southern Pines, North Carolina, for the past 28 years. He and his wife have two sons, Noah and Jacob. John spends his free time offshore fishing, working on boats, cooking, reading and spending time with his family. He is involved with Military Appreciation Day and the Boys & Girls Clubs of America.
